Our Animals
These are our Non-Equine friends.
The Calves
This is the Herford calf that my mother and Mitchell bought. They are hoping to
breed the Herford heifer and raise a calf.
The Goats
I just got back into my goats as I could
not stand not having them around. I just love my goats and am anxious to
get my herd going again and start milking.
I named them Lily and Oliver. Oliver had a broken back leg and so I got him for
free and I am going to nurse his leg and he will be just a pet on the place.
I am in the process of getting two more does and a baby buck.
The Pretty Peacock
I have the peacock and 2 peahens. I am hoping that we will get a nice hatch out of peacocks this spring. Last year my hen hatched all 6 of her eggs but something got to them and she lost all but one.
The Pig
This little girl just arrived today 2/13/2010. The boys want to show her in 4H this summer just to see what it is like to show a pig. I have no idea about pigs and so will be learning along with them.
